The Star Wand is an unusual magic wand whose tip is adorned with a clear crystal. This crystal is said to have been cut from a meteorite that fell to Earth many centuries ago. The wand itself is made of dark juniper wood and decorated with small astrological symbols. Its most famous owner was the scholar Cassian, an astronomer and magician. Cassian spent countless nights atop the towers of ancient observatories, observing the movements of the stars. The Star Wand served as a symbol of his connection to the heavens. Some of his students later reported that the crystal at the tip of the wand sometimes glowed faintly when particularly rare constellations were visible in the sky. After Cassian's death, his observatory was abandoned. The wand remained and was later discovered by travelers who claimed that the crystal still captured the light of the stars
