Today, we journeyed via Munich and Salzburg to the Wörthersee. Traffic was a chaotic river, halted and creeping, with jams causing delays of up to an hour and a half for those unlucky enough to be traveling in the opposite direction. Accidents reported everywhere—from collisions and an overturned camper to a rescue helicopter in action, and completely blocked roads beyond.

Feeling thankful to have made it through safely.
