  • Prompt: Music is an outlet for me in many ways. Drawing is a second outlet. As huiskamerartiest, I make a lot of drawings, usually with music playing in the background. For various reasons, I've created all sorts of playlists on Spotify and YouTube. The Rats playlist, see the link below, slowly filled with songs that gave space to many emotions. This was due to the lyrics, the aggression, the sadness, the title, and the meaning I gave them. In the red box, I've written all sorts of words that fit these. I've often listened to this list as a kind of therapy. If you listen, you'll probably recognize some of it. Ultimately, it became a dark, murky space in an almost closed environment, a kind of prison where escape ultimately becomes the ultimate goal, and what you leave behind, but also take with you, are memories.
