Along with Myst and Transport Tycoon, it was one of the earliest CD-ROM games for the PC. In those days it was a 486 with 4MB memory and a 70MB HDD, running MS-DOS 5.0, with a Gravis Ultrasound card and a non-ATAPI compliant CD drive (with its own card). And a real glass VGA monitor. And a 3.5 inch floppy drive :)
