The first proper computer I owned was the Apple ][, in the early eighties. It had twin 5.25 inch floppies and DOS 3.3. I remember logging onto the Micro Live BBS (bulletin board system, like the present-day Web Forums). I also used to teach Business Data Processing at South West London College, but didn't like it much (being an Aspie) and preferred writing my own programs in Applesoft Basic and 6502 Assembler. I later upgraded to a 128K Apple //e. I still have the Apple //e (which i bought in 1983) and still use it occasionally for a bit of nostalgia :) The original Apple ][ makes a squeaky noise and I need to checksum the ROMs :)
