They wanted to be ready for battle when it came, but they also wanted to ensurethat their ship was clean and presentable.The atmosphere was electric. All the mice, from the smallest to the largest, were filled with a mixture of fear and excitement. They knew they were facing a tough fight, but they were determined to win. They were pirates, and they would not yield to any enemy.When the sun went down,and the color of the sky changed from blue to purple and orange, the mice gathered on the deck. They looked up at the twinkling starry sky and thought of the adventures that awaited them. They were ready to fight, to sail and to explore the great, unknown world.
