The Daleks and the Cybermen have met several times

The first time they met was in the 1968 serial "The Wheel in Space," where the Second Doctor encountered both races on a drifting spaceship. They meet again in the 1975 serial "Genesis of the Daleks," where the Fourth Doctor goes back in time to prevent the creation of the Daleks, only to become embroiled in a war between them and the Thals. In 1985, the Daleks and the Cybermen team up in the two-part serial "Attack of the Cybermen" to try to change history by destroying Earth. They also appear together in the two-part finale of the 2006 season, "Army of Ghosts" and "Doomsday," where the Daleks invade Earth and encounter the Cybermen, leading to a massive battle between the two races. Finally, the Daleks and the Cybermen meet for the last time (as of 2021) in the 2008 episode "The Stolen Earth" and "Journey's End," where they are both part of an alliance of alien races who plan to destroy reality itself. So in total, the Daleks and the Cybermen have met at least five times over the course of the Doctor Who series.
