They were a source of strength and guidance. They taught the mice about the importance of courage, friendship and compassion. They reminded them that even the small and insignificant can achieve great things.
One evening, as a young mouse sat crying over a disappointment, an older mouse opened the trunk and took out a book. It was called "The Story of the Little Mouse Who Defeated the Big Troll".
The older mouse read the story aloud to the young mouse, and when he finished, the young mouse was filled with hope and courage.
The story was about a little mouse who was so small that the other mice often laughed at him. But the little mouse had a big heart and an indomitable spirit. One day a big troll came to the mouse town and threatened to destroy it.
All the mice were afraid, but the little mouse stood up to the troll. He fought with courage and cleverness, and in the end he defeated the troll and saved the mouse town.
