Chiaroscuro ink & color on silk by Liu Jun, Ming dynasty artist: A chiaroscuro-lit intricately detailed sketch of a traditional Chinese literati painting of an ugly nearly bald beggar with some hair over his side near his ears, with darker skin tone & a crippled leg, wearing torn robes with square patch ups and torn-up parts, holding a sizable unbreakable iron crutch serving as a walking staff, and carrying a gourd held by his right hand, limping through a pine forest with decorative rocks. The color palette is dominated by soft greens, blue & red, vivid contrast. Heighten the contrast and bring out the intricate details that result in a stunning synthesis.
玄冥神掌 - Mystical Darkness Divine Palms. The last known expert of this palm skill was Taoist Priest Bai Sun (Hundred Damages/Injuries Taoist Priest). It was assumed since his death 30 years prior that there would be no one left to master it until the Xuan Ming Elders. The word “Xuan” means dark and/or mysterious, while “Ming” also means something along the lines of dark, deep, underworld, or death. It's a cold poisonous palm strike.
