Watercolour.... A Baking Dilemma In a cozy kitchen, Vic had a dream, To bake up some goodies, a sweet, tasty theme. Cookies and muffins, and cakes piled high, But his husband, Jeremy, let out a sigh. "Don't make a mess!" he declared with a frown, "I just scrubbed the floors, you’ll ruin my crown!" With a mop in his hand, he danced on the tiles, While Vic just imagined the sweet, sugary smiles. "Just one little batch," Vic pleaded with glee, But Jeremy countered, “You know this is me! The counters are gleaming, the dishes are stacked, You bake those delights, and our clean’s all attacked!” Undeterred, Vic grabbed his flour and eggs, “He won’t even notice,” he thought, holding dregs. With the mixer a-whirring, the batter took flight, Oh, how could this clean freak resist such delight? Cookies spread out, like little round suns, Muffins rose tall, oh, this baking was fun! But amidst all the laughter and sugary grace, Vic turned to see Jeremy’s shocked, frozen face. "Are those crumbs on my floor? And what’s on the wall?" But Vic just grinned wide, “They’re cookies! That’s all!” With a wink and a smile, he handed him one, “Just taste ‘em!” he laughed, “This disaster is fun!” Jeremy sighed, then took a small bite, His heart melted swiftly, oh, what a sight! “Fine, you can bake, but just clean as you go!” Together they laughed, letting messiness flow. So dwell not in tidiness, let laughter be true, For cookies and muffins are always worth the woo! In a world where clean freaks and bakers collide, Love sweetens the chaos, and together they bide.
