Too often, the imagery surrounding women is confined to curated smiles, artfully arranged floral backdrops, leisurely coffee breaks, or peaceful moments by the sea. While serene and picturesque, these portrayals offer only a sliver of the truth. Where are the women at work - building, healing, teaching, creating, leading? The absence of these representations poses an important question: are we truly content with such a narrow lens, or is it time to embrace the full, dynamic reality of women? Because women are far more than decorative presences or fleeting muses of leisure. Women are the steady architects of families, the intuitive caregivers, the pioneering professionals, the compassionate healers, and the resilient leaders who shape every corner of our society. Beyond giving and nurturing life, women bear immense responsibilities - often disproportionately - balancing homes, careers, and the emotional work of connection with grace, strength, and resourcefulness.
This new series of images I’ve begun aims to illuminate that reality. A visual tribute to women not only as capable, but as transformative forces - powerful, enduring, and deeply human in all they do. Women shoulder hardship in silence, and when we celebrate, our joy is uncontainable. I hope my words didn't come off as too harsh. I certainly don't mean to cast men in a negative light; it's just that I've witnessed more than once or twice how women have been treated by their partners as if they were mere toys, puppets, you name it.
