The Knights of Genetic Purity exist in various forms through the different editions of the Gamma World role-playing game. They even put in an appearance in Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda...which borrowed ideas from just about everywhere. (The pilots chair wasn't even an original concept, something similar appeared in Warlord Battle for the Galaxy). As for the Knights, depending upon your campaign, they were either neutral (if annoying) NPCs, good guys, or Uber villains. Sometimes All three!
