The Grim-Len weakened the interdimensional membrane enough to wiggle his way between the otherwise impassable space-time boundary between universes. While brane-busting is outlawed in 20 galaxies, the Grim-Len race never were ones to play by the rules. Always seeking to profit, if there is interdimensional booty to be found, they will pursue it with glee, and with little regard for the consequences.
