Our languages are precious treasures, each with its own wealth and diversity of words. None should be valued less than another and therefore disregarded or even forgotten, because in every language there are things that can only be expressed in that language.

The larger and more diverse our vocabulary becomes, the greater our understanding of the world and the more precisely we can describe it, and we do not find ourselves in the awkward position of resorting to silly generalizations and clichés simply because we lack the words.
