ArtistA long corridor doors in a Roman-style prison. The doors are made of massive wood with iron reinforcements. An anthropomorphic elderly tabby cat sneaks on its hind legs along the corridor. The anthropomorphic tabby cat wears a modest, cyan, Persian-style dress with cats embroidered in gold on the skirt. The anthropomorphic tabby cat holds a lockpick in its left paw. Several of the doors are open and all manners of anthropomorphic creatures in various dresses walk out of them. There are many anthropomorphic ants wearing Roman-style tunics, two anthropomorphic dogs wearing Victorian-style clothes, three anthropomorphic cats wearing ancient Persian-style clothes, an anthropomorphic otter wearing traditional Swedish garb and an anthropomorphic snake wearing an Indian-style sari.
Athena's suspicions proved correct. She was being detained in a prison for political prisoners. Many of them were diplomats or army officials of Antonesia who had opposed Lord Laverno. But some were also foreign dignitaries who had caught wind of Lord Laverno's coup. They had been imprisoned to prevent word of his power grab from reaching the outside world. Many are furious with Lord Laverno and the treachery of those who support him. As she frees more and more prisoners, Athena unexpectedly finds herself at the head of an army. Even some of the guards secretly loyal to the queen decide to join them. Rebellion is brewing.
