ArtistSurrounding the figure, phantasmal shapes of tormenting spirits float in the murky air, their faces twisted in sinister grins as they tighten the chains. The sky above is a swirling vortex of dark clouds, occasionally lit by flashes of red lightning, creating an atmosphere of dread and hopelessness. Yet, amidst the darkness, a single beam of radiant light breaks through the clouds, illuminating the figure. In the distance, barely visible, stands a glowing cross or a celestial gateway, symbolizing redemption and salvation. The light gradually intensifies, casting away the shadows and causing the chains to begin to corrode and break apart. The air fills with the sound of shattering metal and the faint strains of angelic music.
1 John 2:16
New International Version:
"For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world."
Tree of Life Version:
"For everything in the world—the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, and the boasting of life—is not from the Father but from the world."
Amplified Bible:
"For all that is in the world—the lust and sensual craving of the flesh and the lust and longing of the eyes and the boastful pride of life [pretentious confidence in one’s resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father, but are from the world."
James 4:6 (AMP):
"But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit, to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation]. Therefore it says, 'God is opposed to the proud and haughty, but [continually] gives [the gift of] grace to the humble [who turn away from self-righteousness].'"
