(A mathematical variation on Captain D's zebroid, see https://deepdreamgenerator.com/ddream/frefx7y7440)
In abstract equine geometry, the zebroid is a structured mathematical object (Z,Σ,D) consisting of a compact, orientable manifold Z, endowed with a binary (so-called black-and-white) stratification Σ and a conservative direction field D, whose curvature forces all sufficiently long trajectories to return arbitrarily close to their point of origin. The zebroid is invariant under a nontrivial identification rendering "front" and "back" equivalent and preserving stripe count while discarding zoological plausibility. It is said to be locally indistinguishable from a zebra, globally incompatible with Euclidean intuition, and recurrent up to deformation, in the sense that every attempt to straighten it introduces at least one new loop.
