Cody's Eye The Light Bearer 2025A.D.
Jesus is called the "Light Bearer" because,
as the "Light of the World," he brings spiritual truth, salvation, and guidance to humanity, banishing spiritual darkness. He is considered the source of divine life and truth, revealing God's glory and a path to eternal life through his teachings and example. Believers also become light-bearers by following Christ and reflecting his character in their own lives.
Jesus as the Light Bearer
Source of spiritual truth: Jesus illuminates truth and exposes sin, which leads people out of spiritual darkness. He is described as the true light that gives light to everyone, a light that the darkness has not overcome.
Giver of eternal life: By following him, people are promised to "have the light of life," signifying a path to eternal life and salvation.
Revealer of God: He is the agent of the divine life that shines from the Father, revealing God's glory and majesty.
Bringer of hope and salvation: His sacrifice provides hope for redemption to those who believe and repent.
The "Morning Star": In the Bible, Jesus is also referred to as the "morning star," a symbol of a new day dawning and the coming of light after darkness---
Didn't you just hear former False President for 8 years Obama say America is in "DARK DAYS RIGHT NOW"--where's he been, oh the demon crats flew him in from Hawaii to twist the truth some more.
Believers as light-bearers
Sharing the light: When people accept Jesus, they are considered to be carrying his light and are called to share it with others.
Reflecting Christ's character: Believers are called to emulate Christ by living with virtues like love, kindness, and integrity, which serves as a testament to the Gospel.
Living in holiness and truth: A commitment to holiness, truth, and moral purity is a key part of embodying the light of Christ.
Performing good works: Good works and acts of service are seen as a natural result of living in the light, which allows others to see God's work through believers.
Is Jesus called the light bearer?
There is only One who can be described as the Morning Star and the “Bringer of Light” (or “Lightbearer”) in the New Testament (2 Peter 1:19, 2 Cor 4:6, Rev 22:16). In Him there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). That Being is Jesus the Christ.
