Imagine a life where it is simply assumed that you are better suited to raising children, managing the household, cooking, doing the laundry, maintaining family ties, caring for elderly or sick relatives, and handling all the logistics of family life—and where, consequently, you are left to do it all alone.
Imagine a life where you are paid significantly less than men for the same work, and where your contributions—even when superior—receive less recognition and appreciation.
