Day 1 on the oil.canvas...after a first layer.
Journey back to daily art. So, I pulled the covering of what I was using as a drawing board. Essentially an old acrylic canvas, the cheap type I covered with the last of my paints long ago. And for lack of wanting to spend any money, I had gotten a cheapo set of generic oil paints just first a study and practice for a month. They take some time to dry obviously. No liquin no linseed oil, straight paint not impasto. But canvas is kind of trashed from the stretcher imprint so I'll see if I can work these things out. Painting a couple times a week maybe on the weekends and letting it dry see where I'm at in a month.
