Each morning I enter a world of delight.
All of you Dreamers help me take flight
Away to the Outback or the forest floor,
Castles in space or a cottage front door.
Laughter, and crying, and serious thought -
All manner of emotions - I like it a lot.
I get to see things that were born in your head
Or lived in your heart but never were said.
You shock me with 'ugly' and tease me with 'cute',
And make me say, "Wow!", "Yuck!" and "Oh that's a beaut!"
The colours and styles and the wonderful blends
That you've crafted amaze me, my DDG friends.
You make me see things like never before -
So thank you for opening this wonderful door.
