Upscaled version of the first image in a series inspired by the months of the French Republican Calendar. Ventôse, which runs from around February 23 to March 22, is a reference to the heavy winds common to much of the world in late winter. Thus, I chose a 19th century treatment of one of France's iconic storm-battered lighthouses you can find along the coasts of Brittany and Normandy.
