I know that departures are not necessarily a pleasant thought, but all things must pass... A somehow haunting scene with a barren, gnarled tree next to a weathered grave in a misty forest at the top of a hill in the middle of a dense wooded area. Gnarled branches and a fallen tree trunk add to the eerie atmosphere of decay and mystery. Whispers of the misty forest.
For anyone who is interested: the image is a composition of real photos that I took on site. It is not a cemetery, but a large forest area where a Lordess chose her final resting place at the end of the 19th century. The three graves are located on a hill in the middle of a dense mixed forest and can only be reached by a good walk.
