I wish you to succeed where I failed - this is an oil painting showing a beautiful straw-yellow blonde young woman with bangs and long hair, in close up - the woman is beaming with joy self-confidence and radiating a sense of peace and life fulfillment. She has everything you dream of: nice kids, a loving husband, a nice house, a fulfilling job and a dog. All worked so well - and the is radiating this feeling of success. Yet... The paint is also a bit worn out and cracked at places. And in one of the corner, the dried up paint is even slightly rolling away. And that it reveals underneath is much darker and frightening. There are vague demons lurking. Dark and hidden. They are waiting. Now is not their time now and they know it. But they also know that their time will come soon enough. They are vague and grinning. Distant and close at the same time. The image is both happy and ineluctably dark.
