ArtistAs the last moments of the Earth ticked away, I stood on the shore and watched as a massive wave, higher than any I had ever seen, approached from the horizon. The water had turned an ominous shade of black and was carrying with it a putrid smell, as though something had died and was now being dragged towards us. I tried to run, but my feet refused to move as the wave came crashing down on me, engulfing me in darkness and crushing me with a force that made me feel as though my very bones were being ground to dust. And then... nothing. Just an endless void, with no hope or light to guide me
