Using her broken belt buckle as an excuse, Athena gains entry to the smithy. Immediately she knows that she has struck gold - or rather Sunsteel. The blacksmith has discovered a way to work with the fickle metal that is fundamentally different from the way the Snakelorian Sunsmiths do. He has enchanted his tools to withstand the high temperatures needed to work with Sunsteel. This was thought to be impossible, but it clearly isn't. Athena leaves her buckle with an assistant and discreetly retreats, pretending not to know, or understand what she has whitnessed.
