In the depths where light dare not linger, two grotesque fish-skulls fused together in unholy union — a biomechanical aberration born from the marriage of rot and machine. Their hollow bodies are riddled with festering holes, gears embedded in necrotic flesh like coins pressed into mud. Viscous fluid the color of old wounds drips endlessly from gaping maws lined with jagged, yellowed teeth, pooling into the desolate earth below. One eye — milky, glazed, and ancient — stares outward with vacant malice. The other bulges like a bloated moon, reflecting nothing. Between the two skulls, mechanical tubing and corroded pipes snake through decaying tissue, as though something once tried to repair this creature, or perhaps build it from carrion. The creature stands on tendrils of congealed ichor, surrounded by a cavern that breathes. The walls are alive — twisted vines of sinew and rusted chain form an organic archway, studded with tiny embedded eyes that blink slowly in the darkness. Ghostly humanoid shapes linger in the background, half-dissolved into the stone, watching.
