Masterpiece (An anthropomorphic charming mouse (no tail) in a monk's robe and sandals draws this magnificent picture, full body shot) It depicts a medieval scene from around 1300 AD. The drawing shows a scene of courtly love with a man on horseback holding a rose in his hand, dressed in precious clothing, at the entrance to the knight's castle. Another man on foot, also dressed in courtly clothing, accompanies the knight. A lady climbs a rope ladder up to the castle; the man wants to give her the rose, but she laughs and continues climbing. Two noble knights' ladies stand on the castle balcony and throw roses down. The man is pelted with roses. In the upper part of the castle, courtiers stand on a balcony playing the flute, by Krzysztof Lukasiewicz, The knight's castle with elaborate details, all recorded on an old, large parchment hanging on the wall of a medieval monastery study. Write ‘© Misme’ in very small Gothic script in the lower right corner of the parchment, by Holbein, by Dürer, by Gunta Stölzl, by Jaroslaw Jasnikowski.
Date: Around 1300, reconstructed in the tradition of courtly love depictions
With shimmering delicacy and mischievous charm, Liebesfels' mouse captures the eternal interplay between chivalry and roses.
Between battlements, veils and tender glances, a spectacle of courtly love unfolds, as mischievous as it is tender.
The painter – small in stature but large in spirit and wit – sees what the lovers want to hide: the happy chaos of the heart.
Thus, siege becomes temptation, seriousness becomes a smile – and love becomes an artistic game on parchment. :)
