Artist James R. Eades. Spectral world. It's raining on a still pond in a gorgeous early spring setting. Raindrops hitting water. Each raindrop makes a tiny ripple as it hits the water. Many tiny ripples from each raindrop as it hits the water, all over the pond. Wonderfully delicate, calm and refreshing. Yellow greens of early spring. Metallic gold. Perfect. And she knew absolute freedom. Weightless drifting. Without imperative. And she saw the world of worlds drift by. And ever more her dazzled eyes regarded. And ever more she knew. And ever more she tasted joy.
A beautiful Japanese woman, seen from behind, walks barefoot through a shallow lake or flooded field, leaving ripples in the golden-yellow water, illuminated by the setting sun hidden behind dark trees. She wears a dark green kimono with floral patterns and a bright yellow obi sash. Rain falls heavily, creating long, vertical streaks and small, individual drops that are clearly visible, with some glowing yellow as if reflecting the sun.
