An Old Lady Has Moved In With Me
You won’t believe this, but an old lady has moved into my house. I don’t know who she is or where she came from, but I’ve caught her in the mirror several times. She’s very sneaky. She’s clearly following me around, because every time I look in the mirror — there she is!
She has taken over my bathroom. Her stuff is all over the counter, and somehow, my face cream keeps disappearing faster than I remember using it.
This old lady must be eating all my food, too. I’m gaining weight and I know it’s not me doing it. I suspect she’s also playing tricks with my wardrobe. She’s been shrinking my clothes just enough so they don't fit properly — pants too tight, tops too short. She thinks it's funny.
Even worse, she gets up at night and moves the furniture slightly, so I bump into things. And she's messing with the thermostat. It’s either too hot or too cold, but never just right.
She must have brought in a magnifying mirror, too — I keep seeing these new wrinkles and gray hairs that definitely weren’t there before she moved in.
I’m not sure what to do about her. But I will say this: she seems to be having the time of her life... at my expense!
