This is probably another acutely oblate spheroid, but the top is obscured, so it's hard to be sure. At this point, saucer is more of a verbal shorthand than a descriptor.

I call this simple underside illumination because it does not seem tied to any provable effects, although the lights in the distance might be a retrieval team, rather than the small-town civic lighting that one might surmise.
