ArtistA lush evergreen tropical forest with large trees. The trees support delicate wooden treehouses surrounded by terraces and connected by rope bridges. In a clearing surrounded by trees suppurted by large buttress roots stands a massive stone forge. In front of the forge an anthropomorphic boa constrictor sits upright. The anthropomorphic boa constricor wears a leather smith's apron and holds a hammer curled in its tail. Three anthropomorphic cats stand on their hind legs in front of and facing the anthropomorphic boa constrictor. The first cat is fully white, the second cat is orange and roundish and the third cat is an elderly tabby. The three anthropomorphic cats wear red robes and cloaks and carry a rapier in a sheath attached to their belt.
The three Wiskerteers interview the head of the Snakelorian Sunsmith's guild. The head of the guild informs them that the theft of unenchanted Sunsteel took place several months ago, on the day of the annual festival of the Sun. On this day all Snakelorians take a day off to celebrate together. They play music, dance and feast. Thus, no one noticed until the next day that the Vault had been broken into. Luckily, it only held a small quantity of Sunsteel at the time. Still, it could have been used to make two or three tools or weapons, or perhaps twenty to thirty arrowheads - not enough to fit out a fighting force, let alone a whole army. Nevertheless the theft was very disconcerting at the time and now it seems their worst fears have been realized: someone used their steel to do evil. The vault was thouroughly examined, but no traces could be found. The thieves had swept the floor clean, to remove any traces they might have made.
