Cowardly invaders,
no welcome waits for you.
No roses on your armor,
only a people who will not yield.
We defend our homeland,
our forefathers’ ground.
Freedom is paid for in blood,
a price forced upon us, not sought.
This land is scarred and shattered,
hope thin as smoke over ruins.
Many will not return home,
their absence speaks louder than words.
You call it liberation.
We know it as domination,
lives spent far from home
for some imperial delusion.
The scream of ballistic missiles.
The moped-whine of kamikaze drones.
The practiced rush into underground shelters,
the grim percussion of our days.
We know why we stand.
Rooted like sunflowers,
we endure the worst conditions
and still turn toward the light.
Strength in resistance.
Unity in our hearts.
Courage to endure.
Resilience without surrender.
Honor to the fallen.
Glory to the homeland.
Truth, memory, and resolve
will outlast occupation and lies.
