ArtistA stunning majestic breathtaking underwater image of a massive but not overcrowded sprawling coral reef with incredibly bright and beautiful colors and ridiculously intricate and lifelike textures, lots of staghorn coral and gorgonian coral with round corals mixed in, schools of tropical fish and other coral reef dwelling animals. The camera is 1/4 above water and 3/4 below water and angled downward so the viewer can see the sun and beautiful sky, the textures of distant waves, the uneven waterline, and the incredibly immersive underwater rippling lighting and bubbling and light distortion, with the sprawling coral reef far below.
I have recently had a couple of space image outputs that did fairly well, and that got me to thinking... we know far more about space than the ocean floor, and if space still causes such wonder, why not our own planet? Thus, while this is not a deep-sea image, I have attempted to capture the wonder of the sea versus the beauty of the surface in a single image. This additionally doubles as a benchmark to see modern AI's capabilities for rendering above water lighting, below water lighting, and the divide between the two, and I believe Nano Banana has captured this perfectly.
