there is always something captivating in dark themes and despair. I survived the destruction of war, and then the bombing a few years later, I saw and did many things that children should not see. but it defined me a lot as a person. my greatest victory is that I never learned to hate, and I found two ways to survive. the first is this type of art, and the second is even more beautiful: to turn trauma into something that carries light so that no one can understand that it was made from the bones of children when they read such a thing.
those bones have turned into something childlike and joyful, which brings hope to people.
