My surrealist interpretation of Leonardo's "Lady with an Ermine"
A surrealist painting features a woman in profile on the right looking towards the viewer, holding a white bird- or fish-like creature with an eye on its head and another on its side. The woman has an elongated face, large blue eyes with dark circular outlines, a thin nose, and full red lips. Her dark hair is swept back with some lighter strands near her forehead. The creature she holds has similar large blue eyes and a beak-like mouth. Its body is white with a dark, swirling pattern on its neck/shoulder area, suggesting feathers or scales. The background is predominantly yellow, with hints of a pink/red abstract shape on the top left and a landscape of autumnal trees or bushes on the bottom left. Several red circular objects and a red and white star-like symbol are scattered across the yellow background. The dominant colors are yellow, gold, brown, red, and blue, with black outlines and highlights. The overall style is reminiscent of abstract and cubist art, with a dreamlike, distorted quality.
