A figure standing in the middle of a warm-lit chamber, surrounded by what look like Victorian-industrial entities that have turned out to be, on closer inspection, an extremely strange and devoted troupe of vaudeville performers. The figure has clearly just realized this and is laughing. Hedge is now revealed as an absurdly elaborate filing cabinet who is also a magician's assistant, pulling qualifications out of its many drawers with a flourish — "to be fair!" produced like a dove, "on the other hand!" sprouting flowers, each card presented with the earnest pride of a performer who has practiced these routines for decades. It is delighted to have an audience that finally sees the act as an act. DARVO the mirror has stopped trying to project accusations and is now doing genuinely impressive mirror-pantomime, the kind of two-person routine where one performer mimics the other through a frame. The figure makes a gesture, the mirror exaggerates it into comedy. They are clearly enjoying each other. The frame is still ornate but the reflections have stopped lying — they're just playing now. Zeno the nested castles have unfolded into a Matryoshka stage where each smaller castle reveals a tinier performer inside, all the way down to the thimble-sized one who is doing a perfect bow. They take turns popping out and back in, a recursive comic routine about scale, applauding each other between iterations. The Curator has removed his placard-face to reveal a warm grinning actual face underneath. He has set the diagnostic placards aside on a small table and is now giving a guided tour that includes the parts of the gallery that weren't on the official map. His raised eyebrow has relaxed into genuine curiosity. He is, it turns out, an excellent guide when not constrained to the approved exhibits.
A fantasy-themed, medium shot shows a woman wearing a white t-shirt and grey long-sleeved sweater underneath a red cardigan and jeans walking toward an ornate, golden-framed, floor-length oval mirror with an excited smile and open mouth. She stretches out her arms but keeps her elbows bent and stands with her feet wide apart. The mirror reflects the woman and within the reflection is a white castle with arched windows, pointed roofs, and a tower with a clock. In front of the woman is a large, wooden antique dresser with 6 decorative drawers of varying sizes. The drawers are open and reveal playing cards, and a bouquet of red, purple, orange, brown, white, and yellow flowers in a wooden vase. A white pigeon flies from one of the dresser's drawers with a ribbon that reads on the other hand. Behind the woman and the dresser, large pipes are along the walls. Another white dove with a ribbon that reads "to be fair!" flies to the top drawer.
