Prompt

A surreal oil painting on canvas depicts a vibrant green tree with a human face trapped and emerging from its trunk, roots forming human arms, an oarfish wrapping around the base, and a dangling broken lit light bulb stuck in the tree, all set against a fiery landscape of waves, a melting clock, a vulture perched on a branch, multiple flies buzzing around it, and another vulture flying in the sky with mountains in the background. and the sky is blue gray and ominous and smooth

More about End of Days

Not the beginning… not the final renewal… but the
threshold
• Judgment is active
• Creation is collapsing
• Time has stopped
• Humanity is trapped within the fallen state
• Truth remains—but salvation feels inaccessible

This is the moment between destruction and rebirth.

This work explores the convergence of surrealist distortion and biblical apocalyptic symbolism, drawing inspiration from visions found in the Book of Revelation. The composition presents a world in which natural law has collapsed fire consumes the sea, decay fills the air, and time itself dissolves into a suspended void.

At the center, a female figure fused with a living tree reflects humanity’s inseparable bond with creation, suggesting a state in which identity and environment have become irrevocably intertwined. The presence of a melting clock, stripped of sequence and order, alludes to the cessation of time and the arrival of an eternal threshold—neither beginning nor end.
Encircling this transformation are omens of judgment and revelation: vultures and flies signal decay already in motion, while the coiled oarfish evokes the emergence of hidden forces rising from the depths. A fractured yet illuminated light bulb introduces a paradox—truth persists but remains disconnected from its source.

Rather than depicting a singular catastrophic event, the work envisions the end of days as a condition: a moment in which reality, time, and meaning unravel simultaneously. It is both a collapse and a confrontation, asking whether this dissolution marks an ending—or the uneasy prelude to transformation.
