An impressionistic painting depicts a misty spring landscape with a gently curving valley filled with rows of small, light-colored flowers and soft green grass, possibly a field of primroses. In the foreground, on the right, several tall, dark-trunked trees stand with branches adorned with soft pink cherry blossoms, extending from the middle out of frame. These blooming trees define the right side of a narrow, bright green path that winds downhill along the slope. The path curves from the foreground towards the middle ground, where it meets a slightly wider expanse of light green grass and white flowers. Further back, on a rolling hill, a dense forest emerges from the mist, with numerous bare-branched trees whose muted blue-gray tones fade into the hazy background and a light blue sky with hints of yellow near the horizon.
