Cartoon style. A room in a shack. Pinocchio with a woodcarver and a wooden hammer. Unfinished wooden sculpture in the form of a girl's figure. There are wooden shavings on the floor nearby. Geppetto enters the room with an expression of intense amazement on his face. Geppetto holds a wicker basket with a glass bottle in his hand. A Jiminy Cricket in a hat sits on the wall clock with its front paws covering its eyes. Two mice are running across the floor. Wooden chest, table, stool, bed. Plank floor. There's an onion in a plate on the table. A patched blanket on the bed. A small window with a wooden frame. There is a jug on the windowsill. There is an old canvas on the wall with a faded image in red tones. On the floor there is a wooden carpenter's box for carrying tools, in which there is a hacksaw and a plane.
At the very beginning of my acquaintance with the wonders of AI graphic applications (which was about a year ago), it seemed that great opportunities were opening up before me. However, very quickly I realized that the AI models available at that time could not depict a picture in which Pinocchio is making himself a girlfriend out of wood, while Geppetto enters the door at that moment and is amazed at what he sees. Then I decided to draw this picture and let AI work with it. However, here too I encountered an unpleasant surprise - AI could not depict the essential details and even the main character. Now, a year later, not only Pro models handle this task. At least, even if not on the first try, they color the image correctly. Sometimes they try to make the characters recognizable, but at the same time often make serious mistakes that ruin the image. But overall, there is significant progress, as well as the potential opportunity to create something more individual, including for illustrators who turned out to be not talented enough to express themselves in independent creativity (or simply did not have enough time).
