ArtistSome say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I’ve tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.
A vibrant high-contrast acrylic painting depicts a snowy winter night landscape with a lone house and two bare árboles dominating the foreground. The house, painted in dark blue or gray with touches of orange, features a snow-covered roof with a red chimney and glowing yellow windows, indicating warmth within. The two large, symmetrical árboles, with their intricate, delicate bare branches coated in snow, frame the house. A bright, haloed full moon, emanating a soft yellow-orange glow, dominates the blue-teal sky above. The ground, a striking contrast, is rendered in warm, fiery shades of orange, yellow, and red, implying either a glow from the moon, early sunrise, or perhaps a reflective field. A small, dark fence is visible in the middle ground, separating the house from the trees. The overall mood is cold yet cozy, with a touch of surrealism due to the strong color contrasts and stylized appearance.
