ArtistI wake up amidst cold sweat, By grey skies find myself lulled. After seconds, with regret, All left dreams my mind has culled. But this space seemingly euclidean, Is twisted beyond perception. Brings lost souls right where it pleases, Futile searching for directions. Each step weights more than the last, Hope leftovers become shallow. Worn out hunger of the mind, Doubts empowering the shadows. An air dense, unsatisfying, Pushing deep, hurting the lungs, Makes me feel all more dyspneic, As panic fastens tight bounds.
