The hyperreactive mycelium permeating Quovrahust had long made it difficult to build settlements. Since time immemorial the Turfagan had lived with the mycelium, and when their cities grew to the surface, they brought with them their knowledge of mycelial gardening. And so, every few years when the mycelium reaches it's most active cycle, the cities of Quovrahust bloom in various shades of petrol.
