A baby urchin is called a "pluteus," and it resembles a moon landing ship. They float through the ocean, eating any algae they can find, until they finally land. There, the take root, unroll themselves, and become sea urchins. They grow larger, but unless they get sick or are killed, they stay the same for centuries.
