Yeah, I used Adobe Photoshop...
AI is super interesting and does lots of neat stuff, but you can't beat good old fashioned artistic control; and the work that it took was fun.
It was inspired by the Deep Style images on this site, but I was not satisfied with the output I got so I did it myself. I then ran it through a shallow inception on level 20 to give it a little extra vibrancy.
