I took my base image at sunset along the Rio Negro near Manaus, in the state of Amazonas, Brazil. The Rio Negro is so wide here, it seems more like a lake, And when it meets the Rio Solimões to form the Amazon just a few miles downriver, it is even wider.

I used an abstract digital art piece I created in warm colors for the style, because almost everything, I could see when I took my base photo, looked pink, orange, red, or yellow.
