We might have the most diverse group of down and out, lost and forgotten, homeless and mostly hopeless group of any city in the country. It's like a cross-section of the population. Other cities should strive for such demographic diversity in their own homeless. Not only diversity of race and religion, but we even have "law and order" vandals who support the police through property crime messaging. It's all very confusing...
