Girl with Geese by Rock Wall

More about Girl with Geese by Rock Wall

A close-up watercolor painting titled "ADRIENNE SEGUR" captures a young girl, possibly a goose girl, nestled against a textured, light brown rock wall. She wears a pink blouse with a white bow at the collar, a blue vest, and a long light gray skirt, and a gold belt. Her light brown hair is braided into pigtails and adorned with a white lace bow. Her fair skin has rosy cheeks. She looks toward the right side of the frame with a gentle smile. Two geese flank her: a large white goose with orange webbed feet stands close to her left, its back to the viewer and its head and neck angled to its right, as the girl touches its back with her right hand. On the girl's right, a black goose with a stick in its mouth looks at the white goose. The background transitions from the rock wall to lush green and brown brush. The foreground is grassy, with small brown and red flowers. The artwork is signed "ADRIENNE SEGUR" in the top left, "CCAAC DCM" in the bottom left, and "LAC Y R." in the bottom right, with some additional illegible text.
