Finally Back at the Opera...yay!

This is my first week back at my second home- the opera house, after a year and a half!!

I was so happy to hear and feel the music from our orchestra (Virginia Symphony) that my eyed leaked a little. There's nothing like being feet away from a live orchestra. It feels like the music is wrapping itself around you and moving through your soul. Beautiful!! Yep- nothing like it. I love my job & missed my opera & orchestra family so much!

I had taken a job I hated while hoping we'd get shows going again. It was in the seafood dept. of a grocery store. It was making my tendinitis go into overdrive- my hands were swollen! I had to quit. But it was just in time to come back to the opera, so that's cool! I'm back in my happy place where I belong
