Peaches, my beautiful cat-to-be looks down at me for the first time from her high window perch at the cat shelter. I took her home - of course! How could I not? Her beautiful calico colors and festive flirty attitude was irresistible. She was beside herself with joy at leaving the cat shelter, even her favorite sunny window could be dispensed with.. Once home, she spared no effort to win my heart and bring me fun and joy. She's with me still.
